How to Make a Claim
A travel insurance policy protects you against a range
of possible misfortunes as outlined in your Product Disclosure Statement. If
you suffer a claim event during your period of cover, you may lodge your claim
in two different ways.
Medical, additional expenses, cancellation, luggage,
personal effects and rental vehicle claims may be lodged by completing our
online claim form. You may start the Online Claims process by completing the
"Online Claim Lodgement" form which starts below.
If you have any other claim, you will be required to
download and complete our
manual claim form (125kb PDF).
Note:You must have
Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your machine in order to print out our manual
claim form.
You must give us any information we ask for to support
your claim, such as police reports, valuations, medical reports, original
receipts or proof of ownership.
Claims are payable and will be settled in Australian dollars to you.
The rate of currency exchange that will apply is the rate at the time you incurred
the expense.
If you can claim from anyone else, we will only make up the difference.
You must claim from them first.
